Coupang Resumes Transactions with Cleanwrap... Supply Conflict Ends After 4 Years
Coupang announced on the 20th that it will resume transactions with the household goods company Cleanwrap, marking about four years since the supply conflict incident.
As a result, Coupang customers can now receive over 200 million units sold of the "National Vinyl Wrap" Cleanwrap, along with Cleanbag, Cleanglove, Clean Paper Foil, and about 40 other products via Rocket Delivery. Coupang plans to continuously expand the number of products handled in consultation with Cleanwrap.
Previously, Cleanwrap reported Coupang to the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) in July 2019, claiming that Coupang unilaterally stopped ordering products through distributors while demanding direct transactions with the headquarters. However, the FTC determined that Coupang did not violate the Fair Trade Act.
