On the 18th, Jeomungrae, the 2nd Vice Mayor, observed a detailed on-site investigation conducted by seven members of the Central Technical Advisory Group of the Korea Forest Service and the Gyeongsangnam-do Regional Technical Advisory Group at the landslide damage area near Ssalsaeteo Tunnel (around San 9, Gamcheon-ri, Naeseo-eup, Masanhwoin-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam).

View original imageThe investigation team, composed of forest engineering technicians, professors, and environmental group members, conducted ▲an investigation of characteristics such as geology, soil, terrain, and forest conditions and analyzed the causes of damage ▲analyzed whether the cross-sectional flow area was secured according to forest watershed hydrology and rainfall intensity ▲and performed a detailed analysis of the structures installed on forest roads and the surroundings of cut and fill slopes to help with rapid landslide restoration methods, including permanent restoration of landslide damage areas (such as forest roads) in the future.
