Daegu Urban Corporation Purchases 59 Multi-family and Multi-household Units... Rents to Low-income Families at Half Market Price
Daegu Urban Development Corporation announced on the 18th that it is accepting applications for the purchase of multi-family and multi-unit houses until September 15th to supply rental housing by purchasing existing houses such as multi-family and multi-unit houses to stabilize housing and improve housing welfare for low-income and housing-vulnerable groups.
The existing housing purchase rental project provides housing to various vulnerable groups such as recipients, single-parent families, households urgently needing housing support, disabled persons, and low-income elderly, allowing residence for up to 20 years. It is public rental housing supplied affordably throughout Daegu city at 30-50% of the market price.
Daegu Urban Development Corporation plans to purchase houses suitable for the project purpose among multi-family and multi-unit houses with a residential exclusive area of 85㎡ or less, divided into the first and second half of the year, and will conduct purchases targeting the entire Daegu city area (including some parts of Dalseong-gun).
A representative of Daegu Urban Development Corporation said, “In the second half of the year, we plan to purchase 59 rooms in multi-unit and multi-family houses. After purchase, these rooms will be rented out monthly to low-income groups at 30-50% of the market price.”
In the first half of this year, Daegu Urban Development Corporation purchased 8 multi-family and multi-unit buildings with 91 rooms and rented them to low-income groups at 30-50% of the market price.
