[Tomorrow's Weather] Daytime High of 33°C... Showers in Some Areas
Most Areas Except the East Coast Experience Heatwave
On Friday the 18th, the heatwave will continue in most parts of the country except for the East Coast. The perceived temperature will rise above 33 degrees Celsius, and tropical nights will occur mainly in urban areas, the West Coast, the South Coast, and Jeju Island.
The morning low temperature is forecast to be between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 27 and 33 degrees Celsius.
There will be occasional clouds nationwide, with occasional rain from the morning in the eastern South Coast of Jeollanam-do, the Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island. The expected precipitation over two days until the 19th is 10 to 60 mm in the eastern South Coast of Jeollanam-do, inland areas of Gyeongnam, southern inland areas of Daegu and Gyeongbuk, the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island. Busan, Ulsan, the southern South Coast of Gyeongnam, and the southern East Coast of Gyeongbuk will receive 30 to 80 mm of rain.
From afternoon to evening, there will be showers in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the Chungcheong region, Jeonnam (excluding the eastern South Coast), eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk. The expected precipitation from showers is 5 to 30 mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk, and 5 to 40 mm in Gwangju and Jeonnam. Eastern Jeonbuk and northern inland Gyeongbuk are forecast to receive 5 to 60 mm.
In areas experiencing rain or showers, strong rainfall accompanied by gusts and thunder/lightning is expected. Some places may experience very heavy rain with hourly rates of around 30 to 50 mm.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

For the time being, swells will flow into the East Coast and the southern South Coast of Gyeongnam. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
