Application on Yuhan-Kimberly Website
Last Year Recorded Competition Rate of About 220 to 1
Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 16th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2023 Our Rivers and Mountains Green Green Forest Sweet Sleep Contest’.
Now in its 8th year, the Forest Sweet Sleep Contest is part of Yuhan-Kimberly’s ‘Our Rivers and Mountains Green Green’ campaign and is held annually in urban forests. As the opportunity to rest comfortably in the forest became well known, last year’s competition rate reached about 220 to 1.
The event will be held on the 15th of next month at ‘Seoul Forest Family Yard’. The number of participants has been expanded from 30 last year to 100 this year. A mini concert and various events will also be held.
Two winners who achieve the most stable deep sleep through heart rate measurement will receive travel gift certificates. All participants will be given a sweet sleep kit along with Yuhan-Kimberly products. Those wishing to participate can apply on the Yuhan-Kimberly website by the 27th.
As sleep deprivation among modern people worsens, interest in healthy sleep is growing. According to the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service, the number of people who visited hospitals for sleep disorders last year was about 800,000, an increase of about 20% in one year. In the 2019 time use survey by Statistics Korea, only 47% of people were found to get an adequate amount of sleep.
