Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station announced on the 16th that it is operating a reward system for reporting illegal activities such as emergency exit closures.
They urged people to immediately report if they witness illegal activities such as leaving fire safety equipment in a faulty state or closing fire doors in multi-use establishments, cultural and assembly facilities, and sales facilities.
Reports can be submitted by visiting the local fire station, mail, or fax within 48 hours of witnessing the incident, along with supporting evidence.
If the illegal activity is confirmed, a predetermined reward will be given.
