‘Mokwon University Citizen Open Concert’ Energizes Daejeon Midnight Festival Atmosphere
Current students and alumni of Mokwon University College of Music will hold the 'Mokwon University Citizens' Open Concert' during the Daejeon 0 o'clock Festival.
According to Mokwon University on the 15th, the concert will be held at 7 p.m. on the 16th at the special stage at Daejeon Station. Admission to the concert is free, and performances including Korean traditional music, vocal music, classical, and jazz can be enjoyed.
The first stage will be filled with a performance by Mokwon University's dance club, 'Cracker.' Following this, there will be a pansori samulnori performance by the traditional artist group 'Mori,' a jazz performance by the jazz musicians group JASS MUSICUS, and a brass quintet performance by MW Brass, among others.
Additionally, a mixed choir performance by the Mokwon Soloist Ensemble, composed of Mokwon University faculty members, and a performance by Granada, a fusion Korean traditional music band and promotional ambassador of Daejeon City, will also be presented.
The Daejeon 0 o'clock Festival is held until the 17th along Jungang-ro and the nearby old downtown area within the 1 km section from Daejeon Station to the former Chungnam Provincial Office. This festival, themed 'A Time Travel to Daejeon's Past, Present, and Future,' offers a variety of attractions that people of all ages can enjoy.
