T'way Air Celebrates 13th Anniversary... Encouraging Employees
Awards for Model Employees and Long-term Service Staff
T'way Air held its first in-person '13th Anniversary Celebration' since COVID-19 on the 11th at the Gimpo Airport Cargo Terminal Training Center, attended by CEO Jeong Hong-geun and employees.
The celebration began with a musical ensemble and vocal performance by the cabin crew, followed by awards presented to 21 exemplary employees and 201 long-term service employees who contributed to the company's development. Exemplary employees received certificates and cash prizes. Long-term service employees were given a business card plaque made of pure gold, two round-trip airline tickets, and a fruit basket.

In his commemorative speech, CEO Jeong encouraged the employees who endured difficult times together, saying, "We have reached this point today as a result of creative and challenging communication and efforts among employees during the COVID-19 pandemic."

He then used Seoraksan Mountain as a metaphor to emphasize the path T'way Air has taken and the future ahead. CEO Jeong added, "Since all employees have united to overcome Socheongbong Peak, let us all take one step at a time together toward the remaining goal of reaching Daecheongbong Peak of Seoraksan Mountain."

A T'way Air official stated, "This 13th anniversary coincides with a time when the company is looking toward a new future, making it a meaningful occasion for all employees," adding, "All members will unite and take strong steps forward for a new leap in the post-COVID era."
