Jangseong-gun Conducts 'Electrical Safety Inspections' at Senior Centers and Elderly Facilities
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 10th that it will conduct electrical safety inspections on a total of 367 buildings, including 341 senior centers and 26 elderly facilities in the region.
The main inspection items include the operation of leakage circuit breakers and the presence of abnormalities in switches, indoor and outdoor electrical wiring, grounding status, and overall electrical equipment.

Minor issues identified during the inspection will be repaired immediately, and facilities requiring additional maintenance will be addressed through a separate plan.
This is a newly implemented policy being carried out for the first time this year, entrusted to a specialized electrical safety management organization.
A county official stated, “We will continue to make efforts to create an environment where elderly residents can live safely.”
