Anyang City Seeks Women-Friendly Companies Until the 25th
Anyang City in Gyeonggi Province is seeking companies that strive to create a work environment that supports work-life balance and gender equality for workers.
On the 10th, Anyang City announced that it will accept applications for the 'Anyang-type Women-Friendly Company' from companies within the city until the 25th.
Eligibility requires companies to have been operating in the city for more than two years and have at least 20% female employees among their total workforce. Additionally, companies must have established sexual harassment prevention guidelines or conducted sexual harassment prevention training.
However, companies that do not have internal policies for maternity protection such as maternity leave or parental leave will be excluded from selection.
Companies wishing to apply can visit the city’s website, fill out the application form and the women-friendly company certification criteria table, and submit the required documents such as the business registration certificate to Anyang City Hall.
Anyang City will announce the results in September after document screening and on-site inspections.
The certification period for Anyang-type Women-Friendly Companies is three years. Certified companies will receive a plaque and additional points in corporate support projects promoted by Anyang City, Anyang Industrial Promotion Agency, and Anyang Women’s Human Resources Development Center.
