Nationwide Major Forest Trails Including Jirisan Dulle-gil 'Fully Closed'
Due to the northward approach of Typhoon 'Khanun', access to major forest trails nationwide will be completely restricted.
On the 9th, the Korea Forest Service announced that from this day until Typhoon 'Khanun' is completely dissipated, major forest trails such as the Jirisan Dullegil and Hallasan Dullegil will be fully closed.
Khanun is expected to affect the Korean Peninsula starting from the southern coastal area on the afternoon of the 10th.
Accordingly, the Korea Forest Service plans to install warning signs and access control lines in typhoon-risk areas, enforce emergency duty for forest trail managers, and establish emergency communication networks to thoroughly prevent safety accidents.
