The government will hold a meeting on the 7th to discuss the typhoon evacuation plan for participants of the Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree in Jeonbuk.
Prime Minister Han Duck-soo will preside over a meeting related to the Jamboree evacuation plan at 6 p.m. at the Government Seoul Office in Gwanghwamun. The meeting is expected to be attended by ministers from the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, as well as the Mayor of Seoul, the Governor of Jeonbuk, and 17 local government heads.

The government, anticipating that the Jeonbuk area where the Jamboree is taking place will be affected by Typhoon "Khanun," is preparing an evacuation plan for all 36,000 Scout participants under the direction of President Yoon Suk-yeol.
