Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) conducted a joint civil-government-police patrol around Gangnam Station at 7 PM on the 4th to prevent random knife attack incidents.
Prior to this, the district, together with the police, conducted a preliminary inspection at 3 PM around the exits of Gangnam Station and Hanti Station as well as the shopping district, and patrolled the academy area near Eunma Intersection in Daechi-dong at 9:30 PM.
