Nexon Games Officially Launches 'Blue Archive' in China
Nexon Games announced that its subculture collection RPG, "Blue Archive," developed in-house, was officially launched in the Chinese market on the 3rd.
"Blue Archive" supports both Android and iOS versions. During the pilot test period in China held in June, it ranked first in popular game rankings on major app market platforms such as Bilibili and TapTap, and the number of pre-registrations reached 4.25 million.
The local service in China is handled by "Shanghai Roaming Star," a subsidiary of the renowned subculture game company Yostar. Ahead of the launch, "Shanghai Roaming Star" showcased "Blue Archive" at the large-scale offline secondary creation festival "Bilibili World" and is conducting promotions such as opening an official merchandise store on the release date.
Meanwhile, Nexon Games also released a new PV (promotional video) to coincide with the Chinese launch of "Blue Archive." This PV features the daily lives of various characters such as "Shiroko," "Hifumi," and "Hina," harmonized with the bright and refreshing image unique to "Blue Archive."
Kim Yongha, General PD of Nexon Games, who oversees the development of "Blue Archive," said, "I would like to express my gratitude to all the Chinese teachers who have been waiting for 'Blue Archive,'" adding, "All members of MX Studio, including myself, will do our best to ensure it is loved by teachers for a long time."

"Blue Archive" was first released in Japan in February 2021, followed by launches in Korea, North America, and other global regions in November of the same year. Based on a solid story and attractive characters, it has ranked first in highest sales on Japan's two major markets and first in highest sales on Korea's Apple App Store and One Store.
