Business Agreement for Developing Specialized Cultural Tourism Content in Gunpo Area
The Korea Tourism Organization is joining forces with Gunpo City and the Gunpo Cultural Foundation to develop region-specific cultural tourism killer content.

On the 1st, the three organizations signed a business agreement at Gunpo City Hall in Gyeonggi Province to collaborate on creating attractive cultural tourism killer content representing Gyeonggi-do.
The Tourism Organization will support online and offline promotion of local festivals such as the Gunpo Azalea Festival and attract tourists.
Additionally, it will establish a strategic collaboration system with Gunpo City to discover and nurture potential tourism resources. In particular, it will support the establishment of a dedicated tourism organization in Gunpo and engage in joint projects with this organization to revitalize tourism in the future.

Lee Jae-hwan, Vice President of the Tourism Organization, said, "We will leverage the organization's accumulated know-how in tourism content development and marketing capabilities to create attractive cultural tourism killer content representing Gyeonggi-do together with Gunpo City and the Gunpo Cultural Foundation. We plan to continuously expand collaboration with Gunpo City in the tourism sector and actively support efforts to significantly contribute to the revitalization of Gunpo City's local economy through tourism in the long term."
