Gyeonggi-do International Education Institute, 'Capacity Building Training' for Japanese Language Teachers
The Gyeonggi-do Institute of International Education will conduct an 'International Education Capacity Building Training' for 30 middle school Japanese language teachers in the province from the 2nd to the 4th.
This training will be held online during the summer vacation for Japanese language teachers interested in international education, based on an understanding of Japanese culture.
The main training contents include ▲ Japan of the past, Korea of the future (understanding Japanese culture) ▲ Sharing cases of online and offline international exchanges ▲ Activity-centered Japanese language classes and assessments ▲ Small group Japanese conversation sessions with native Japanese speakers.
In particular, the curriculum combining Japanese language classes and international exchange is expected to provide teachers with motivation for international education and practical know-how.
Yu Hyeyoung, director of the Gyeonggi-do Institute of International Education, stated, "Although the necessity of international education is urgent, its introduction in schools is still minimal," and added, "We will provide wholehearted support to nurture glocal talents for the future society."
