'Breathing Art, Vibrant Hapcheon'
The 19th Hapcheon Arts Festival, where residents of Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, and cultural artists come together, will be held from the 5th to the 19th at Ilhae Park in Hapcheon-eup, divided into performances and exhibitions.
Hosted by the Korean Federation of Artistic & Cultural Organizations Hapcheon Branch and organized by the Korean Traditional Music, Writers, Music, Fine Arts, and Photographers Associations, the Hapcheon Arts Festival will take place around Ilhae Park under the theme "Breathing Art, Vibrant Hapcheon." The exhibition events will include a park poetry and painting exhibition by the Writers Association and member exhibitions by the Fine Arts and Photographers Associations.
The festival's performance events will begin with an opening ceremony at 6:30 PM on the 16th and continue for three days. Events include the Residents' Harmony Festival, a recitation meeting featuring invited celebrities, and a happiness concert with residents.
In particular, the Residents' Harmony Festival on the 16th is expected to be enriched by performances from popular local singers such as Kim Yong-pil, who rose to fame through TV Chosun's Mr. Trot, as well as Sim Sin, Seo Ji-o, Han Bom, and Peter Pan.
