Golf booking platform XGOLF announced on the 1st that an analysis of green fees for the first half of this year, based on actual round reservation completion data from members, showed that weekday prices were 136,366 KRW and weekend prices were 175,361 KRW, representing decreases of 6.77% and 3.57%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
In the first half of last year, weekday green fees were 146,383 KRW, and weekend fees were 181,872 KRW. In May, green fees increased nationwide on weekends except in Gangwon and Chungcheong provinces. The decline narrowed from March, when the golf peak season begins, and the amount rose significantly in May, the golden season for rounds.
