Nowon Youth Sharing Center 'Youth Empathy' Opens
Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends Opening Ceremony of Nowon Youth Sharing Center ‘Cheongnyeon Gonggam’
Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the Nowon Youth Sharing Center ‘Cheongnyeon Gonggam’ at 4 p.m. on the 31st in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
Located in front of Exit 2 of Suraksan Station on Subway Line 7, the ‘Cheongnyeon Gonggam’ center covers an area of 166.06m² and consists of ▲Item Rental Room ▲Talent Sharing Room ▲Community Room ▲Shared Kitchen. It plans to support youth activities such as renting 86 types of items for around 2,000 KRW per day, talent sharing including media equipment usage training, and youth skill development programs.
The center is available to youth aged 19 to 39 who live or are active in Nowon-gu, and applications can be made through the dedicated Cheongnyeon Gonggam website. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with closures on Sundays and Mondays. More details can be found on the district office website.
The event was attended by about 50 people including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, National Assembly member Kim Seong-hwan, Nowon District Council Chair Kim Jun-seong, city and district council members, and local youth. The program included guest speeches, progress reports, congratulatory performances, commemorative photos, and a facility tour.
