The survey covered a total of nine sites, including eight complexes completed within the last five years where flat slab structures were applied in underground parking lots out of 21 such complexes, and one site currently under design and construction out of 12 sites.
Regarding the eight complexes completed within the last five years where flat slab structures were applied, SH Corporation reported that structural safety experts and company staff conducted inspections immediately after the accident in May, and no signs of structural abnormalities were found, confirming that no separate repairs or reinforcements were necessary.
Among the sites under design and construction, one site applies flat slab structures, and inspections by two structural safety experts and company staff on the construction status and structural drawings confirmed that the construction is being carried out appropriately.
In this regard, Kim Heon-dong, President of SH Corporation, visited construction sites of multi-family housing managed by the corporation and ordered thorough safety management and quality control.
Additionally, SH Corporation plans to conduct detailed inspections this week on complexes completed in the past beyond the last five years through specialized safety diagnosis institutions, including shear reinforcement rebar detection and non-destructive concrete compressive strength testing.
