The Ukrainian military stated that the North Korean rockets were confiscated by a 'friendly' country to Ukraine before being delivered to the Russian forces.
So far, the United States has condemned North Korea for supplying weapons to Russia through maritime transport and other means, while North Korea and Russia have denied these claims. U.S. intelligence agencies revealed in September last year that Russia was purchasing millions of rockets from North Korea for use in the war. Subsequently, in December last year, North Korea reportedly sold rockets and missiles to the Russian mercenary group Wagner, and in March this year, the U.S. claimed that North Korea was receiving food from Russia and was planning to deliver additional ammunition.

Scenes of North Korean weapons being used in the Ukraine war have not been frequently observed. On the 27th, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited North Korea to mark the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Day, also known as 'Victory Day.' North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un welcomed the Russian military delegation led by Minister Shoigu and spent most of the three-day, two-night schedule together.
