On Friday the 28th, the heatwave will continue nationwide with occasional clouds. The highest apparent temperature will rise to around 35 degrees Celsius in most regions, and heatwave warnings and advisories are expected to be issued in the majority of areas across the country.
Due to unstable atmospheric conditions, showers are forecast to fall in most regions from the night of the 27th. The expected rainfall from showers on the 28th is 5 to 40mm in the central region (excluding the eastern coast of Gangwon), Jeonbuk, eastern inland Jeonnam, inland Gyeongbuk, western inland Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island. Heavier rainfall of over 60mm is expected in the central inland, eastern inland Jeonbuk, inland Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island.
The morning low temperatures will range from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be between 29 and 35 degrees Celsius. Temperatures will temporarily drop when showers occur, but will quickly rise again after they stop, making it hot. Tropical nights are expected in many urban areas located along the coast and inland.
