According to Dong-gu on the 27th, around 5 p.m. that day, an unauthorized house in Daein-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, collapsed.
There were no casualties as no one was residing in the house.
Authorities believe the building collapsed due to heavy rain and aging.
To prevent further accidents, a control line was set up at the site to block pedestrian access.
A family of three living in a nearby house is scheduled to evacuate to a lodging facility.
