Explanation of Major Amendments and Revisions Following the Revision of the Water Leisure Act
Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) announced that it held a joint public-private meeting on the 27th to share and communicate changes in the system following the revision of the 'Water Leisure Safety Act,' which has been in effect since the 11th of last month.

The meeting was attended by 14 participants, including local government officials in the jurisdiction, Mokpo branch of the Korea Maritime Transportation Safety Authority, license agency representatives, and water leisure safety leaders.
In particular, the meeting focused on △ explaining major amendments and revisions to the law △ sharing tasks and collaboration matters among agencies △ sharing key initiatives to establish a safe water leisure culture, aiming to ensure early adaptation of the law and build a cooperative system.
