Overseas Expansion Based on 4by4's Technology and Lotte Home Shopping's Planning Skills
Virtual human 'Lucy' created by 4by4 is entering the Thai market through Lotte Homeshopping.
Visual tech solution company 4by4 announced on the 26th that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Lotte Homeshopping and the Thai branch of China's Huanji Group to collaborate on the entry of virtual human Lucy into Thailand.
Huanji Group is a global logistics company providing port, air, and maritime transportation, as well as supply chain services within China. Beyond logistics, it is expanding its business areas across Southeast Asia through biohealth, food trade, IT, and entertainment businesses. The Thai branch of Huanji operates in AI solutions, game, application and web service development, as well as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) device solutions development.
Following the MOU signing, Lucy will be active as a model and influencer in various business sectors where Huanji's Thai branch operates. Huanji Thailand promised to actively support Lucy's expansion not only in Thailand but also in neighboring key ASEAN countries such as Vietnam and even mainland China by leveraging its regional recognition.
4by4 plans to explore technical methods to enable Lucy to be active in various ways. Lotte Homeshopping will also plan and develop various interactive content to help Lucy connect intimately with the local Thai audience.
