Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will operate the career experience program ‘Career Experience Academy’ for middle school students from August 2 to September 23, covering four fields: AR/VR, Architecture, Performing Arts, and Design.
This program is designed as a career exploration experience that raises understanding and interest in the local area by visiting various regional spaces and encourages students to consider practical applications in their fields of experience.
The program consists of a total of four fields: ▲AR/VR ▲Architecture ▲Performing Arts ▲Design, each conducted in two sessions.
For AR/VR, ‘Media Experience Using AR/VR’ will be held at Seoul Urban Science and Technology High School and Museum Wave; Architecture offers ‘Model House Construction Experience’ at Seoul Urban Science and Technology High School and Kim Joong-up Architecture Culture House; Performing Arts provides ‘Acting Experience with Actors’ at Theater Company Hatangse and Seoul Dong-gu High School; and Design features ‘Dreamcatcher and Leather Craft Making Experience’ at Seoul Dong-gu High School and Mwa Workshop.
Notably, the second session of the AR/VR field will take place at Museum Wave’s immersive exhibition (EVOLVER), where participants can enjoy surreal moving artworks in AR (Augmented Reality) mode and explore various career paths in AR/VR.
Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “We plan to support diverse career experience programs linked with local spaces to enhance students’ understanding and interest in the places where they live.”
