Amid nationwide simultaneous press conferences held by the Korea Electrical and Telecommunications Service Workers' Union under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Service Federation, Coway coordinators and Kodak inspectors in the Gyeongnam region also called for an increase in inspection fees on the 25th.

The union stated, "Although our Coway coordinators and Kodak inspectors are struggling on the front lines facing customers, they have been left in a social blind spot as special employment workers," and added, "The average hourly wage of visiting inspectors is 4,520 won, which is lower than the average wage of 6,340 won for eight special employment job categories, and among visiting inspectors, Coway's conditions are the worst."
