Police Urgently Arrest Author of 'Sillim Station Murder Threat'
In Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, where a recent stabbing incident occurred, the author of an online post threatening to kill 20 women was apprehended by the police.
On the afternoon of the 21st, a police line was set up near Exit 4 of Sillim Station in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, where a stabbing incident occurred. On that day, a suspect wielded a weapon at this location, resulting in one death and three injuries, who were transported to the hospital.

On the 25th, the Cyber Investigation Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that they had urgently arrested Mr. A, the author of the murder threat post, on charges of intimidation after he expressed his intention to surrender via 112 at around 1:44 a.m. that day.
Mr. A is suspected of posting a message on an online community at around 2:40 p.m. the previous day stating, "I will kill 20 Korean women at Sillim Station on the 26th." He also uploaded a screenshot of his purchase of a weapon online in the post. The post has since been deleted.
