Busungchan "Cheongong or Baek Jaegwon, are civilians trespassing military facilities without permission?"
"The Hannam-dong Area Was a Special Zone Housing the Core Security Line at the Time"
Former Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Bu Seung-chan pointed out on the 24th that if Baek Jae-kwon, a feng shui expert and adjunct professor at Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, entered a controlled protection zone where civilians are not allowed without authorization to inspect the presidential residence during the selection process, it would be a serious issue.
Bu, who first raised suspicions last year about the fortune teller 'Cheonggong' conducting a preliminary survey of the presidential residence, appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' on the same day and said, "Hannam-dong, where the Chief of Staff's residence is located, was at that time a special zone housing key national security lines such as the residences of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Marine Corps Commander, the Minister of National Defense, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. It is a place where it is difficult to obtain permission to visit, so if a civilian entered, it would be a significant problem."
Former Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Bu Seung-chan is responding to reporters' questions as he appears at the Cyber Investigation Division of the Jahamun-ro Annex, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of April 27 to undergo police investigation regarding allegations of astrologer Cheongong's involvement in the relocation of the Presidential Office residence.

In response to the criticism that "if the visit was under the control of the Blue House relocation task force (TF), civilian access might be permitted," he rebutted, "Because they are civilians, they must leave an access record, but Minister of National Defense Lee Jong-seop stated at the National Assembly standing committee in February that 'there is no individual access record.' This can only be seen as a deliberate concealment of the civilian visit."
He emphasized the need for an investigation according to the Military Facilities Protection Act. Bu explained, "Unauthorized entry under the Military Facilities Protection Act is punishable by severe penalties. If it was unauthorized entry and the formal procedures were not followed, not only the civilian but also those involved in colluding will be punished under the Military Facilities Protection Act."
