Busan Gijang-gun is actively proceeding with the establishment of public transportation operation and transfer system improvement plans for residents' mobility to create a "well-connected transportation city."
The county held the 1st Gijang-gun Transportation Policy Advisory Committee meeting of 2023 on the 19th and conducted a kickoff report on the "Jeonggwan-eup Public Transportation Operation and Transfer System Improvement Review Service."
The "Jeonggwan-eup Public Transportation Operation and Transfer System Improvement Review Service" is a project to revitalize public transportation in Jeonggwan New Town by reviewing route travel time reduction within the new town and the installation of a city bus transfer center, with the final results expected around February next year.
During the service process, the county plans to actively collect opinions from various experts and local residents and focus administrative efforts on adjusting bus routes and preparing transfer system improvement plans based on the service results to reflect them in the public transportation policies of Gijang-gun and Busan City.
