An accident involving hydrochloric acid leakage occurred at the Sintanjin Rest Area in Daejeon.
According to Daejeon City and fire authorities on the 20th, the hydrochloric acid leakage accident happened at 5:39 PM at the Sintanjin Rest Area on the Gyeongbu Expressway in Sangseo-dong, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon.
The accident is estimated to have occurred due to a hole in the tanker (25t) of a vehicle transporting hydrochloric acid.
Daedeok-gu notified the public of the hydrochloric acid leakage accident at the Sintanjin Rest Area through a safety alert message.
