Busan Office of Education Receives Beds for Educationally Disadvantaged Students from Lotte Giants
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will receive 32 Dabone furniture beds worth approximately 48 million KRW from the Lotte Giants.
This bed support aims to help educationally vulnerable students who are emotionally distressed due to family circumstances and poor living conditions find emotional stability through the provision of beds. This is a follow-up measure to the agreement signed on the 3rd of last month between Superintendent Ha Yun-su and Dabone Furniture.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to deliver the beds to the homes of the target students by the 31st. The target students are children from households with poor living environments, such as those living with grandparents, single-parent families, or low-income families, who receive intensive case management from educational welfare officers.
Ha Yun-su, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, “We are grateful to the Lotte Giants and Dabone Furniture for their unwavering support for children in need despite difficult economic conditions. Our education office will also do its best to support students so that they can achieve their dreams regardless of their economic circumstances through thorough case management.”
