Ediya Coffee Donates Flood Recovery Funds to Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongbuk
Ediya Coffee recently announced on the 20th that it has donated flood recovery funds to areas affected by the continuous heavy rain.
The total donation of 30 million KRW delivered by Ediya Coffee through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea will be used for flood damage recovery in the Bonghwa area and for providing relief supplies to disaster victims.
Since the 13th, record-breaking heavy rains of 300 to 600mm occurred in Bonghwa and surrounding areas including Yeongju, Yecheon, Mungyeong, Sangju, and Andong, causing damage such as road washouts, river flooding, and landslides. On the 19th, 13 areas including Bonghwa, Mungyeong, and Yeongju were first declared special disaster zones.
On the 18th, Ediya Coffee also delivered relief supplies worth 50 million KRW, including Ediya Water, Kombucha, and Beanist stick coffee, to flood victims nationwide.
