"1129 Days of the Korean War" is a historical book written in Ujeongche by founder Lee Jung-geun, documenting the 1,129 days from the outbreak of the war to the armistice agreement. Ujeongche is a chronological writing style that places the center of world history on Korea and excludes interpretations of historical events, listing the lunar and solar calendars, sexagenary cycle, days of the week, and diaries as they are. This book has been produced in summary and English versions and has been donated free of charge in over 10 million copies domestically and internationally, recognized as an important historical resource.
Booyoung Group has taken the lead in patriotic social contributions. In 2015, it supported the construction costs of a memorial for Korean War veterans at the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan, Seoul, and last year, it donated 100,000 USD to the Korean War Foundation. Additionally, it strengthens civil-military ties by establishing sisterhood relationships with military units and delivering consolation goods annually. It also donated 10 billion KRW last month to the Air Force Sky Love Scholarship Foundation, to which it has been contributing since 2018.
