Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 18th that it participated in the '2023 North America Las Vegas Cosmoprof' from the 11th to the 14th for three days, achieving a total of $11.85 million in consultation results through 306 export consultations.

This year, 1,415 companies from 40 countries participated, and 40,000 visitors attended the exhibition.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do joint pavilion, organized by the Korea International Trade Association Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, consisted of a total of 10 companies, including those producing traditional beauty products such as mask packs, basic cosmetics, and hand creams, as well as companies armed with unique ideas such as lipsticks with lip protection functions, skin and scalp analyzers, and shower filters.
The cosmetics company 'Honest' from Gyeongsan received a request to develop and supply bathroom amenities worth approximately $2.5 million from a local hotel ranked 3rd in the global hotel rankings (as of 2022). 'Korea BNC' received an entry proposal from Amazon, the world's largest online mall, and 'Power Player' received an entry proposal from iHerb, the world's largest health supplement platform, and conducted on-site consultations regarding specific conditions.

Lee Dal-hee, Deputy Governor for Economy of Gyeongbuk Province, said, "This year, we participated for the first time by forming a Gyeongsangbuk-do joint pavilion at the world's top three cosmetics and beauty fairs," adding, "Since the positive perception brought by the Korean Wave has provided an opportunity to target advanced markets such as the United States with excellent beauty products from the province, we will continue to strengthen related support such as research and development and marketing to actively support companies' entry into overseas markets."
