Store Easily Forgotten Passwords in an App... KakaoBank Launches 'Personal Safe' Service
Saving Files Such as Photos, Documents, and Passwords
Security Enhancements Possible According to Importance
KakaoBank announced on the 18th that it will launch the ‘Personal Safe’ service.
KakaoBank’s ‘Personal Safe’ is a service that allows users to store photos, documents, passwords, and more in various file formats such as images, videos, audio files, text, and electronic documents within the KakaoBank application (app). Users can create ‘boxes’ inside the Personal Safe to organize and store information separately, and each box can be given a desired name.
Additionally, the service provides a feature to enhance security by setting additional authentication methods for each box. For example, biometric authentication can be set for boxes with relatively low sensitivity, while OTP authentication can be applied to boxes containing important information.
This service is available to all KakaoBank customers aged 17 and older, and users can apply for it through the ‘Personal Safe’ menu within the KakaoBank app.
