Former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Korea, Bae Joon-seok, has been appointed as the new auditor of the Korea Federation of Banks.
The Korea Federation of Banks announced on the 17th that Bae was appointed as auditor following the resolution of the general meeting and approval from the Financial Services Commission.

The newly appointed auditor Bae graduated from Sangmun High School, Korea University Law School, and Indiana State University Graduate School in the United States. He joined the Bank of Korea in 1991 and has served as Director of the Legal and Regulatory Affairs Office, Director of the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, and Deputy Governor.
