Reviewing Progress on Increasing Pledge Fulfillment Rate in the 8th Civilian Administration
On the 14th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the '2023 First Half Public Pledge Project Progress Report Meeting' at the mayor's office, presided over by Mayor Hong Nam-pyo, with a total of 30 attendees including heads of departments and divisions and heads of departments in charge of pledge projects.
The report meeting was organized to review the progress and issues of the public pledges of the 8th elected administration and to derive future improvement plans. It was conducted in a format that moved away from the traditional one-sided reporting method to an in-depth discussion on issues related to each pledge.
A 'Mid-Year Pledge Project Progress Report Meeting' was held under the chairmanship of Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, with attendance from heads of national and local offices and department heads in charge of pledge projects.
View original imageThe city confirmed a total of 72 pledges across 11 tasks in 5 areas to realize the 8th elected administration's vision of "Changwon, the Northeast Asia Central City." So far, 8 projects have been completed or are being continuously pursued after implementation, 58 projects are progressing normally, and 6 projects are partially underway, accelerating the fulfillment of the pledges.
Major completed projects include the establishment of a Youth Policy Officer directly under the mayor, expansion of bus routes and express buses in Buk-myeon, support for revitalizing redevelopment and reconstruction maintenance projects, and the installation of the Changwon Jinhae Family Center.
Based on the results of the report meeting, the city plans to improve and supplement issues in the pledge project implementation process and systematically manage the projects by checking the progress quarterly to ensure flawless fulfillment of the pledges.
