The Win-Win Cooperation Academy is an educational program that supports small and medium-sized partners in independently establishing and operating stable quality control processes. It is organized by CJ Freshway’s food safety specialized department, the Safety Management Team. Since its inception in 2015, over 460 partner companies have completed this training.

Marking its ninth year, this year’s Win-Win Cooperation Academy provided training to about 30 small and medium-sized partners on topics such as ▲ food safety evaluation items and application cases ▲ food labeling requirements ▲ claim management in food manufacturing sites. The case-based training, conducted by experts with field experience, enhanced partners’ understanding and practical application.

CJ Freshway operates an internal system called ‘Audit’ to evaluate and manage the food safety of its partners. Through this training, it shared legal requirements and application cases for key evaluation items. It also provided detailed explanations on the revised food labeling regulations to be implemented next year, including instructions on how to write Korean labeling for origin, raw materials, and nutritional components. Notably, the training included a session to address partners’ usual questions and difficulties collected through a prior survey, and distributed food labeling checklists and various analysis report templates to enable continuous use after the training.

A CJ Freshway official stated, “As part of ESG management, we operate the Win-Win Cooperation Academy annually, through which we enhance the quality control capabilities of our partners and strengthen the safety of distributed products, practicing win-win management. We will continue to reinforce a virtuous cycle structure that allows us to grow together with our partners and provide safer food to customers.”
