Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station, Police Officer Career Experience Program
The Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju provided students with an opportunity to explore the police profession.
On the 12th, Gwangsan Police Station conducted a career experience program for 30 students at Jangdeok High School in the district who aspire to become future police officers.
The education covered topics such as the police organization, the duties of police officers, and the necessary virtues.
Activities included experiencing equipment such as a grip strength meter used in the police physical fitness test, as well as tasers, handcuffs, and expandable batons actually used in the field.
A communication session was also held where students listened to the exam preparation experiences of recently recruited police officers and asked questions they were curious about.
