"Just Checked the Gas Meter"... Absurd Excuse by Landlord Who Stole Ice Cream from Tenant's Home
Landlord Trespasses While Tenant Away
Ransacks Drawer and Steals Ice Cream and Drinks
While the tenant was away from the house, the building owner was caught trespassing, rummaging through drawers, and stealing snacks, sparking public outrage. When the tenant protested, the building owner claimed, "I came to check the gas meter."
According to JTBC's 'Incident Commander' on the 12th, a male tenant in his 20s, Mr. A, had to leave his home for two months starting in June due to personal reasons. Worried about potential issues, Mr. A installed a home CCTV system called a 'home cam.'
On the 8th, Mr. A received an alert on his phone from the home cam detecting movement. Alarmed, he checked the footage and captured a woman walking around his studio apartment.
The woman headed to the refrigerator, took out ice cream and drinks, and even opened the vanity drawer. This woman was none other than the building owner, Mr. B.
Upon seeing this, Mr. A immediately called Mr. B to protest, but Mr. B insisted, "I came to check the gas meter." When asked about the ice cream and other items in his hands, Mr. B gave a ridiculous response, saying, "That's my bag where I carry cosmetics."
Mr. B's intrusion did not end there. At around 2:46 a.m. on the following day, the 9th, Mr. B entered Mr. A's home again. Mr. B was carrying clothes he had stolen. When Mr. A questioned why he returned the clothes he took, Mr. B replied, "I felt sorry, so I put them back."
