Excellent IP Value Plus Guarantee Launched

The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter Kibo) announced on the 13th that it has launched the 'Excellent IP Value Plus Guarantee' product, which supports high-level technology value evaluation of high value-added advanced technologies and other excellent intellectual property (IP) linked with guarantees.
The Value Plus Guarantee is a new guarantee product in which Kibo's Central Technology Evaluation Institute discovers high value-added advanced technology IP through a network with universities and public research institutes, calculates the technology value amount, and supports commercialization funds linked with guarantees within the value amount. The Central Technology Evaluation Institute plans to operate by evaluating the technology value amount and conducting high-value guarantees in advanced fields internally, while other cases will be linked and processed through branch offices.
In particular, companies selected as excellent IP companies can receive various preferential benefits through Kibo's designation as 'IP-Value Small Giants,' including ▲free pre-diagnostic evaluation for KOSDAQ technology special listing ▲priority review for investment linked with Kibo guarantees ▲guarantee fee reduction (0.3~0.5 percentage points) ▲preferential guarantee ratios, among others.
This launch of the Value Plus Guarantee is expected to contribute to promoting the commercialization of intellectual property in advanced technology fields by closely evaluating the future high value-added embedded in ultra-gap future strategic technologies owned by universities or public research institutes, enabling support for high-value IP guarantees.
