North Korea launched a ballistic missile into the East Sea on the 12th. This is the first time in 27 days since North Korea last fired a ballistic missile on the 15th of last month.

Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Director of the Workers' Party of North Korea, issued a statement on the 10th and 11th, claiming that a U.S. Air Force strategic reconnaissance aircraft violated the East Sea Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) airspace, and threatened to take military counteractions if such incursions are repeated.
