SevenBrewery Voluntarily Recalls Some Representative Wheat Beers
"Proactive Measures Taken in Response to 'Taste Has Changed' Feedback"
Sevenbrau Beer has confirmed that it voluntarily recalled some products of its 'Daepyo Wheat Beer.'
According to the liquor industry on the 11th, Sevenbrau recalled all products of Daepyo Wheat Beer sold at the convenience store CU with a manufacturing date of May 31.
This recall action is known to have been taken following consumer feedback that the taste had changed. However, Sevenbrau explained that there was no defect in the product itself.
Sevenbrau launched 'Gompyo Wheat Beer' in 2020 in collaboration with Daehan Flour Mills, but the trademark usage contract ended in April this year, so the name of the existing Gompyo Wheat Beer was changed to Daepyo Wheat Beer, and the product design was changed from a bear to a tiger character.
