Mercedes-Benz Korea Launches EQE SUV in Korea... Prices Starting from 109.9 Million KRW

Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 11th that it will officially launch the electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) 'The New EQE SUV' in the domestic market.

This model was first unveiled worldwide through a digital world premiere in October last year. The EQE SUV is the second luxury electric SUV model developed based on Mercedes-Benz's electric vehicle-exclusive architecture, EVA2.

The New EQE 350 4MATIC SUV

The New EQE SUV features an aerodynamic design, a generous driving range of over 400 km on a single charge, a highly practical interior space, as well as stable and comfortable driving performance and various convenience features.

First, the EQE SUV incorporates various design elements to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. To improve driving efficiency, a heat pump is installed as standard, and a DCU (Disconnect Unit) is equipped. A new wheel spoiler is applied in front of the front axle. Special aero-cladding was also developed for aerodynamically optimized wheels. Through these elements, an excellent drag coefficient of 0.25Cd was achieved.

The New EQE SUV Interior

The all-wheel-drive 4MATIC system of the EQE 350 4MATIC SUV and EQE 500 4MATIC SUV distributes torque to the front and rear electric motors (eATS) in the most efficiency-optimized way according to driving conditions. For the first time in a Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle, a DCU is installed to automatically disconnect the front motor and drive with rear-wheel drive according to each driving situation and required output.

Thanks to these features, the EQE 350 4MATIC SUV and EQE 500 4MATIC SUV can travel up to 404 km and 401 km respectively on a single charge according to domestic certification standards. The EQE 500 4MATIC SUV delivers a maximum output of 300 kW and maximum torque of 858 Nm.

The exterior applies the EQ family look, including a black panel radiator grille. At the same time, dynamic proportions and muscular vehicle shoulders emphasize the sporty atmosphere of the SUV. Thanks to the large electric platform, the interior space has also expanded. Like the EQE sedan, it is equipped with a 12.3-inch driver instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch OLED central display.

EQE 500 4MATIC SUV Launch Edition Interior

As an electric SUV, the EQE SUV is equipped with elements that can deliver optimal driving performance tailored to various driving environments. First, the AIRMATIC air suspension is applied as standard. The vehicle height can be adjusted as needed. Through the adaptive damping system, each wheel is individually controlled according to driving mode, speed, and load to provide stable driving and comfortable ride quality.

The EQE SUV also features various convenience options such as the advanced driving assistance system Driving Assistance Package Plus, Burmester® 3D surround sound system, and air purification package.

In the domestic market, the ▲EQE 350 4MATIC SUV ▲EQE 500 4MATIC SUV and ▲EQE 500 4MATIC SUV Launch Edition will be released first. Later, a high-performance model, the ▲The New Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ SUV, will be launched. Prices are ▲EQE 350 4MATIC SUV at 109.9 million KRW, ▲EQE 500 4MATIC SUV at 128.5 million KRW, and ▲EQE 500 4MATIC SUV Launch Edition at 134 million KRW (including VAT).
