Heavy Rain Advisory for Most Areas in the Seoul Metropolitan Area... Heavy Rain Warning for Icheon and Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province
On the 11th, most areas in the Seoul metropolitan area are experiencing sudden heavy rain exceeding 30mm per hour, requiring caution.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 10:30 AM on the day, heavy rain warnings have been issued for Icheon and Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province, and Wonju in Gangwon Province. Heavy rain advisories have been issued for 17 cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province (Gwacheon, Ansan, Siheung, Bucheon, Goyang, Suwon, Seongnam, Anyang, Osan, Gunpo, Uiwang, Hanam, Yongin, Anseong, Hwaseong, Gwangju, Yangpyeong), Seoul (excluding the southwestern area), and Incheon (excluding Ganghwa County and Ongjin County).
Heavy rain advisories are also in effect for three cities and counties in Gangwon Province (Yeongwol, Pyeongchang Plain, Hoengseong) and four cities and counties in Chungcheongnam-do (Gongju, Cheongyang, Boryeong, Seocheon).
