The Official Document Inconvenience Reporting System was introduced to assess the appropriateness of official documents sent by schools and to improve inefficient official document production practices across various institutions.
The Office of Education specified 10 detailed reporting items. Any staff member can visit the Office of Education's website to make suggestions.
To reduce and improve the quality of official documents, the Office plans to publish a monthly "School Work Improvement Issue Paper" introducing user-friendly official documents and provide a visualization web service that visualizes big data on school official documents.
Additionally, the Office will reduce administrative tasks by omitting or minimizing school self-planning, distribute support materials for improving official documents, conduct step-by-step competency enhancement job training to strengthen responsibility for official documents, and carry out policy training including the selection of key tasks.
Lee Un-jae, the School Work Improvement Officer at the Office of Education, stated, "We will strive to improve inefficient official document production practices through the Official Document Inconvenience Reporting System, discover and share user-friendly official documents, and work towards qualitative improvement of official documents. We will listen carefully to voices from the field so that schools can focus on educational activities and do our best to enhance and simplify school work."
