Hyundai Department Store announced on the 9th that it has released the 'Sustainability Management Report 2022' and will actively communicate with key partners.
Hyundai Department Store published the sustainability management report containing last year's ESG management activity achievements, future plans, and ESG policies. The report also includes the 'TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)' report. TCFD is an international consortium established in 2015 by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) at the request of the Group of Twenty (G20), recommending companies to establish management strategies and action plans based on climate change scenario forecasts. Hyundai Department Store is the first in the distribution industry to publish a TCFD report.

Following the international standard guideline for sustainability management reports, the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standard 2021, Hyundai Department Store produced a storybook format covering last year’s activities and future plans on the top five key issues: ▲The Path Toward Carbon Neutrality ▲Establishment of a Resource Circulation System ▲Customer Happiness Project ▲Creating a Safer Environment ▲Responsible Partner Management.
