As of July, colorful and beautiful summer flowers such as Budleja officinalis, yellow cosmos, zinnia, and roses are in full bloom across an area of 19,872㎡, awaiting visitors.
The Nodonggol Flower Garden Complex has been created as a large-scale flower field frequently visited by tourists to Gochang Fortress and local residents.
In the future, it is planned to be developed as a tourist attraction linked to Nodong Reservoir, where visitors can enjoy walking and healing with the reservoir as a backdrop.
The Gochang Agricultural Technology Center is conducting research to create the flower garden complex and plans to design a flower garden with a unique regional theme specific to Gochang-gun on a site of 94,723㎡.
A representative from the Gochang Agricultural Technology Center said, "We will do our best to develop differentiated tourism content with unique ideas linking Gochang Fortress and Nodong Reservoir so that many tourists will visit."
