On the 4th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "Over two days (3rd to 4th), I met with Indian businesspeople and Korean companies operating in India," and introduced, "Yesterday, I met with representatives of Indian economic organizations such as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), similar to the Federation of Korean Industries, the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA), as well as CEOs of large corporations. Today, I met with representatives of Korean companies operating in India, including Hyundai Motor, POSCO, GS Construction, and SK Hynix."
He continued, "My first partner after taking office as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs was India," adding, "The conversations I had with Arun Jaitley, then India's Finance Minister, laid the foundation for strengthening Korea-India cooperation, and I am confident that the discussions with representatives of the Indian business community this time will also provide a solid basis for enhancing cooperation between Gyeonggi Province and India."
Furthermore, he explained, "Korea and India are already cooperating extensively," and said, "When Gyeonggi Province's advanced industries leading Korea, such as semiconductors, bio, information and communication technology (IT), and advanced mobility, meet India, which has abundant future value, greater achievements can be made in all areas including exports, investment, and human exchange."

He also promised, "The soon-to-open IICC and the 'Gyeonggi Business Center (GBC)' to be newly established in Bengaluru will serve as helpers for Gyeonggi Province's entry into India," and added, "'Bengaluru,' a major city in Karnataka, known as the Silicon Valley of India, will actively support the entry of Gyeonggi Province's SMEs from an optimal location."
